چکیده
Phaseaoli pericarpium (bean pods) is a pharmacopeial plant material traditionally used as diuretic and antidiabetic agents. Diuretic activity of pod extracts was reported first in 1608. Since then Phaseoli tea figures many textbooks medicinal by patients. Despite the traditional use from Phaseolium vulgaris pericarp, limited information available on bioactivity, chemical composition, bioavailability such preparations. The following study aimed to investigate phytochemical vitro permeability selected extract's constituents over Caco-2 permeation system, potential antivirulence against uropathogenic Escherichia coli hydroalcoholic extract (PPX) support its remedy urinary tract infections. composition PPX [ethanol:water 7:3 (v/v)] investigated using UHPLC-DAD-MSn subsequent dereplication. compounds present evaluated monolayer system. influence E. On the Origin of the Common Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.)
Phylogeographic methods provide the tools to accurately access the geographic origin and diversification of crop species. In the present commentary, I urge the common bean community to face those methods and a tree-thinking mentality with regards to the long standing debate of the origin of common bean. Such efforts will ultimately bring back interest into wild bean studies and reinforce the un...
متن کاملThe morphological and biochemical effect of phosphate deficiency on different cultivars of common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris)
Phosphorus is an essential nutrient for plant growth and productivity. Since agricultural soils in Iran are predominantly calcareous with very low available Pi content, Pi deficiency has been considered to be a major nutritional constraint for crop production, thus, the application of Pi-fertilizers is essential for satisfactory crop production. The application of Pi-fertilizers contaminates so...
